What is The Lynx List?

The Lynx List is a private newsletter for startup investors, curated by me, Andrew Chang. It’s the weekly paid edition of Lynx Collective’s Early Stage NYC newsletter, featuring NYC-based pre-seed/seed stage startups that are actively fundraising. Each profile includes a video interview and a memo-style writeup.

I meet hundreds of great founders every month, and there’s growing demand from VCs, angels, and family offices who want access to the NYC deal flow in our community.

This newsletter bridges that gap. It offers high-signal, curated, early-stage startups, delivered 1-2 times weekly only to subscribed investors. For the featured startups, there’s no cost to apply or be featured. We don’t take equity or success fees—we’re just looking for a sharp pitch and a founder ready to raise.

We’re looking for:

  • Startups based in or strongly connected to NYC

  • Raising or about to raise a pre-seed or seed round (within the next 2-4 weeks)

  • MVP or early traction (revenue, users, pilots, etc.)

  • Founders available in NYC to record a pitch interview

How to apply to be featured

Start by completing the application form below. Please be thoughtful in your responses—this helps us evaluate whether there’s a strong fit for Lynx List.

If selected, we’ll reach out to schedule an initial video chat. From there, we’ll coordinate a recorded pitch session with Andrew Chang (Lynx Collective), to be featured in an upcoming issue of the Lynx List.

Due to the selective nature of the Lynx List, we’re only able to feature a small number of startups each month. We’ll do our best to keep you informed on the status of your submission.
